Written Test: Exam will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. Questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology of respective standard. It also has GK questions based on science which is supposed to be for respective standard. Total time duration will be 90 minutes and students will have to solve 100 questions for 100 marks. No negative marking. Around 7.5% students are selected for practical which is stage second. Scores are converted to out of 30.
Merit certificate is issued to all the students securing minimum 35% marks in written tests. Please note that MSTA make separate merit lists for each region, each medium and each standard students.
This practical stage is of 30 marks and 30 minutes will be given to students. All the experiments are neatly arranged on table. Experiments are of type view, note and hands on type. Top 10 % students are selected for next stage
The MSTA gives a subject for the action research project. Students will select topic related to the given subject and make project
